Up early and hit the road at about 7:30am

There was a 20km climb out of Golden. Hard start to the day buy the views were great.

No matter how bad the hills were, the views were great.

I like the small waterfalls that come out of the side of the hills.

Lots of slate. I thought about picking up a few for Robert. Changed my mind.

Two other (younger) bikers on the Cross Canada tour. They passed me on the hill.

Stopped at a scenic site. The spiral tunnels.
